When Ciel and Mark had helped Sarina into the house, Sarina was confused on why they were going into the living room for-she knew the blueprint of the house she had been adopted into by heart. Once Mark had let go of her hands Ciel removed his hands from her face only for her to see that the living room had been decorated for her birthday-which never happens. Even though what it was decorated in-she wasn't into. It didn't mean that she wasn't thankful for the gesture.
Sarina let out a small sigh as she sadly smiled at those she grew up with. "Thank you for this...but it's obvious that none of you know me as well as you think you do."
Noah was confused. "I was told you liked My little pony is that wrong?"
"Yes very wrong. Justina and Emily both like My Little Pony. I can careless about walking talking prancing ponies." Sarina said shaking her head "But it's whatever, at least the thought was there-I'm not going to be that ungrateful."
"No-no, I promised I'd do your birthday right this year and I want to keep that promise. Tell me what are you into honestly?"
"Honestly? Pokemon or Strawberry Short cake."
"I knew she liked Pokemon!"Mitchel stated glaring at Emily and Justina "You two don't know her as well as you think you do!"
"Sarina, hang tight kiddo. We'll fix this." Noah said before he looked at the four kids he had. "Place everything back in it's plastic. We're taking it back and getting what she's into."
Nile and Noah were more than happy to take down the My little Pony things from the house. Emily went up to Sarina and glared at her. "Why did you lie to father like that, and why were you sleeping over at uncle Marks?"
"You weren't told? Your father is actually my uncle and my blood father is Mark. I was with my real father last night because I wanted to get to know him. Cause after today I'm leaving this place and living with him-and Ciel is coming with us since you guys can't seem to take care of another kid around here." Sarina said. "And I didn't lie. I don't like ponies-and I never have or will. They aren't what interest me."
"You're a girl! You should like ponies!"
Ciel moved Sarina away from Emily and glared at her. "Sarina has the right to do as she pleases and like what she wishes. She shouldn't have to be bullied to like whatever you and your sister likes."
"Shut up half pint! This doesn't concern you!"
"You're taking your anger out on a woman on her birthday due to what she likes and dislikes. Sarina has the right to like and not like what she wishes. She shouldn't have to be forced to like something that you and that * woman who brought me here to begin with, when she doesn't want to. Sarina is her own person and likes different things than the both of you. So leave her alone." Ciel said seriously
Emily went to hit Ciel only for Sarina to push Emily away from Ciel. "Leave ciel alone! He's right! I don't care about what you and Justina likes! I like different things than the two of you! I know you two have been trying and failing at brainwashing me to like things that you two like! But it's not going to work! I'm not some preppy female like the two of you are! So leave him and I alone!"
Mark saw what happened and spoke up. "Emily step away from Sarina before things go into a dangerous territory for you."
"B-But uncle Mark! She's female! she should like my little pony!"
"If Sarina doesn't like that crap then so be it. She's more than willing to like or dislike things at her own leisure. You shouldn't have to force her to do anything she doesn't want to do." Mark said seriously "Anyways-that's a stereo type that shouldn't even be brought up. Just because it is for females doesn't mean that just females like that crap. Sarina is a unique young child who knows what she likes and dislikes. So let her speak her mind about it on her birthday. If for your birthday or for Justina's you two wish to have that pony *-then fine. But don't force my daughter to like something that she doesn't like."
Emily hated that twice now it was said and acknowledged that Sarina was Mark's child. "Uncle mark she can't be your daughter! She's too ugly! Why are you saying she's your daughter for?!"
Mark raked his hands through his hair before he looked at Noah. "Deal with your daughter before I do." Mark said annoyed
Noah looked at Emily. "If you cannot be nice to Sarina you are going to be sent to your room for the day do you want that?"
Emily frowned. "N-No.."
"Then shut up, stop being a brat and help take this * down." Noah said seriously
"Y-Yes father."
Once everything was taken down. Emily and Justina were sent to their room while Nile and Noah went out to get the right decorations. Mitchel stayed behind to talk with Sarina.
"Sorry about this Rina, truly I don't know what those girls were thinking." Mitchel said patting the top of her head softly
"Not your fault Mitchel. So you knew I liked pokemon?" Sarina asked
"Yeah I knew, when we still had cable here. You would always have your eyes glued to the TV. Unlike when the girls would place on their stupid barbie movies or my little pony bull * you'd leave the room instantly. So I figured that's how you showed that you were interested in something or not." Mitchel explained
Sarina averted her eyes. "Call me out why don't you?"
Mitchel laughed a bit and smiled. "I'm not sorry for that Sarina, so I gotta ask did you get into where ciel is from on your own or did Justina get you into it?"
"I got into it on my own-I saw the DVD's for the first season at the library and I wanted to watch it. She just so happened to watch it with me cause she had her eyes on Ciel's demonic butler." Sarina explained
Ciel wringled his nose a bit. "You've got to be kidding me Sarina."
Sarina sadly sighed at the younger male. "Sadly no. I'm being legit here. Justina apparently has the hots for your demonic butler."
"She does realize why he looks how he does yes?" Ciel asked curiously
"I'm not entirely sure, but you can ask her later when she isn't acting like a complete meanie face."
"I'd rather not talk to someone who obviously doesn't know you well Sarina." Ciel stated shaking his head
Mark had his arms crossed as he was hearing the three kids speak to one another. "So just where is Ciel from anyways Sarina?"
Sarina looked at her father and smiled at him. "He's from an anime called Black buter, he's the protagonist of it. The whole anime goes around finding out who had murdered his parents and burnt down the entire Phantomhive estate. Which in the end of it all once he figures out who and places justice upon them he will give his soul up to the crow demon who he named Sebastian who looks just like his dearly departed father-Vicent Phantomhive."Sarina explained
"That is not what Justina had told us about Ciel. Holy * she lied to us." Mitchel said shocked
"That's not a surprise. Ciel has been a victim of kidnapping and sexual abuse. He has seen his own twin brother be torn limb from limb in front of him as a sacrifice for some stupid cult." Sarina explained "He is also betrothed to his cousin Elizabeth who prefers him to call her Lizzy instead."
Ciel was stunned by how much she knew about him and his past life. "Y-You are well knowledgeable about my life Sarina. I'm impressed you know so much."
Sarina smiled sincerely to Ciel. "When I get into something I do all that I can to figure out all of the information that I can on that subject or what have you. But what thing that has always piqued my curiosity is truly how well are you at the game of chess?"
"You know how to play such a game Sarina?"
"I do, I'm in the junior chess club at school." She said before she went to get the chest board from the game shelf. "How'd you like to play me to see who is better?"
"Alright then, I'll accept your challenge, Sarina. Just don't cry when I win against you." He said with a smile
